Hello readers. The concept is simple: I'll write daily posts for 100 days leading up to the Lincoln Marathon on May 1.
I toyed with creating a standard outline to make things easier. My other idea was just to free-write for thirty minutes, but that might get a little too personal. ;)
Instead of either of these, I created a list of potentially interesting outline items to pull from so all the days aren't the same.
I'll also go over the basics: "what I did yesterday, what I plan to do today, and any impediments." This is taken from this work thing I did about a 1000 times.
But instead of the Daily Scrum, it's the Daily Blog Post, and instead of trying to develop software, I'm trying to run a marathon, and instead of meeting with my development team, I'm just meeting with me, and instead of reporting to the Scrum Master (yes, that's a real thing) I'm reporting to the Internet.
I hope you'll join me for the antics and surprises, and the consistency and boredom that come with marathon training.
Let's do this.
