Yesterday I got in a 30-minute ride. It felt really good, but I just have been not making time for it as much as I should be- I should have done 45.
On my plan for today is 18 miles. I have exactly halfway through my training plan, even though I took off 2 week at the beginning, but regardless I still have 12 weeks to go and I'm already running 18 miles?
It feels really early to be doing that kind of mileage.
You can see how I have only four more long runs after today. Ok, 6 if you count 14 and 12 miles as long runs, and 8 if you count the half marathon and the 13 miles I'm hoping to get in the week before that.
But you can see the reason I have to do 18 miles now is because I was hoping to get in three 20-milers before the race.
I don't want to wimp out on my mileage, but my foot has been bothering me all week so I'm going to have to make the decision to dial it back to 16. I think I'm doing myself a disservice pushing past that. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes.
