I actually wrote this on the correct day and forgot to post it!
Nine-squared days until the Lincoln Marathon. This tempts me to reorganize my training into a 9x9 matrix, the significance of which would be lost after today, so I don't think I'll bother after all.
Yesterday I did an hour ride, mostly easy. When I say easy, my heart rate was around 160 and I was sweating heavily - so it's not like an "easy run" where neither of those things occur. I also did some strength training (yep!) and possibly made a fail-proof plan to tackle that once a week
I have some things to take care of today I'm not too excited about, but I'm still hoping to do a workout later. It was supposed to be an 8 mile run, but my ankle is sore and I have no idea how I will feel later. I am thinking of doing another hour on the bike and running tomorrow. I wouldn't put off a run and not do it like I might a ride, so I'm not as concerned about talking myself out of it again tomorrow.
